When I initially moved to my property and began developing the site, I was a full sun, full-season organic grower. I was emulating Tom Hill and his big plant growing method. Fulvic acid was used as part of a foliar program to drive nutrients, mainly calcium into the plant during stretch. Sap analysis consistently confirmed that we could not get sufficient levels of calcium without supplementation via foliar spraying.

Years later now the laws have changed, as well as my preferred methods. Currently, I have just over 1700 sq ft which I turn over twice a season utilizing light deprivation in beds. As the economy of (plants) changes, and we encounter a level of market saturation which is unseen, small backyard farmers like myself are forced to cut costs wherever possible by mechanization as well as bulk sourcing salts and weaning off bottles. Mr. Fulvic is the highest quality fulvic acid I can obtain at the lowest cost, and it stays in my program, all season in my fertigation solution. I notice a significant difference in plant health when using it, and am able to run a lower EC fertigation solution, allowing me significant savings in nutrients annually. It also compliments my carbonate-heavy well water, giving me a buffer and saving me from having to micromanage my solution pH.

Frankly I can’t see why anyone from a closet grower to a licensed producer with 100’s of lights wouldn’t use this product, indoor or outdoor, organic or mineral salt based, it will benefit anyone as long as they utilize and apply it correctly. Ed and his team are amazing, and I was pleasantly surprised at his willingness to answer questions and offer clarity to a smaller client like myself.
